It is in a very "local" little place, next to chickens, fisherman, stuff like that, which I love but for some may be offputting. Sunrise here on the lake can be epic... The owners are very lovely people and will welcome you warmly. This goes a long way! The breakfast was good, we took it to our balcony which was super nice. Room was very clean, fresh, well furnished with a decent bathroom. Bed was very good quality nice places to put your belongings

The best decision is to stay here. 1) The view is Amazing. Mount Agung is so majestic. Early in the morning, there was not a single cloud. 2) The rooms are super comfortable, bright and spacious 3) The staff is super accommodating. They found me a taxi to get back to the city and made sure my luggage was loaded. Walked 1,5 hours to the Besakih temple from the hotel. the scenery is just wonderful.

Tira Vilagna far exceeded my expectations. This is the only hotel I've stayed at in Bali where it was better than the photos and also the only one that I didn't feel guilty about staying at the hotel all day. Amazing. Attention to detail in the design of the hotel is incredible. Lots of private areas to sit and enjoy the view. Yoga area, complimentary afternoon tea, fire pit for the smokers, good restaurant and walking distance to Kintamani cafes where you can enjoy an unobstructed view of Mt. Agung and Mt. Batur.
